ALIA SLA Joint Sessions

I sure got a workout in Australia. As part of our new joint SLA/ALIA agreement we tried out a series of half day sessions every day for three days in a row in Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. They were successful since we were sold out, filled the room and had a waiting list. I think there's more opportunities to try this format. These sessions had me (my opening PPT is below) as well as other great speakers from Australia - different folks for each session - dsiscussing the innovations that they were doing. All of this was awesome. I haven't learned so much in three days in a long time. Aussie library folk rock!

Reality 2.0: Transforming Ourselves, Our Associations and Our Enterprises

I hope we try this again.

I was disappointed that i wasn't able to meet you in Brisbane. But at least you didn't catch my flu :)

Hopefully there'll be another time.
