I'm glad I listened to the entire podcast - you made a comment towards the end about how the Gen X generation being somewhat underrepresented in libraries. I belong to this generation, and I am very concerned about the lack of mentoring offered to us from the preceding generation of librarians. You hit the nail on the head when you said we are a bridge generation, but as things stand now, I'm so much more comfortable working with the new generation of librarians. It's hard to be a bridge when you're only connected to something on one side.
Also, thanks for plugging your book - should be one worth buying.
