Just read this article and a couple things in it made me think of some of the statements you made at an SLA presentation I attended.
I wasn't wholly on board at that time, and am perhaps less so now.
I wonder if things in librarianship are heading where we so confidently assume they are? Just a nagging thought.

Yes, I saw that article. It's so much fun to write a book of apochryphal and anecdotal stories than to actually do research. Grin.
