O'Reilly Tools of Change for Publishing

I had the great opportunity to do the opening keynote for the O'Reilly Tools of Change (TOC) for Publishing Conference in New York this morning.

Here are my slides:

Information 3.0 - Will Publishers Matter?

I'll be closing the conference on Tuesday with an interview panel of teens and their use of information and libraries. That'll be fun!

Stephen, I greatly enjoyed your opening salvo at TOC this week. The opportunity to speak to you at length afterward about it, as well as about educating children with visual-spacial styles (as has my daughter) was even better. As I said, your currency on industry developments, the polished nature of your presentation, and the innate optimism of the whole was quite welcome. Thank you for filling a half of page of my notebook.
