Yes - we might be heading for another stock market bubble. Whee!
Of course we've learned from the last few bubbles. Just because a few folks lost their shirts or inflated stock options quickly didn't slow down the inexorable push forward of electronic communication, the Internet, or the web. It just culls the weaker companies out through mergers, acquistions and bankruptcies and leaves a few strong ones (Remember AltaVista?).
Remember - back up your stuff in all those free ad-based sites. You have no guarantees that what you get for free persists.
Libraries do persist, however.
