Internet Librarian 2005
I am here in lovely Monterey at the 9th annual Internet Libraran conference. Two fun things to do this week. I am giving the endnote on Wednesday. It's called "Competing With Google: Library Strategies". Of course, I can't write the talk until I moderate the Tuesday evening event where we'll have a panel on "Google-brary: The Status Quo of Tomorrow's Megalibrary." The panel is stellar! I can hardly wait until we see Adam Smith, senior Business Product Manager for Google Print, Barbara Quint from Searcher, square off with with Mark Sandler from U Mich, Rich Wiggins from MSU and Steve Arnold from Arnold Information Technology. I can even promise another surprise on Tuesday night.

Sounds like the gloves will be off for that session. I hope there is no bloodshed...
